Karen Prater has been the MDC Ambassador for South Australia since its inception in Adelaide and is very passionate about her involvement and feels incredibly privileged to have the role bestowed on her for another year. Her interest in the Mother’s Day Classic stems partly from her Grandmother’s fight against Breast Cancer and subsequent passing.
Karen has been on air at Mix Adelaide since 2000, she’s also hosted a motoring program on Adelaide’s Channel 9, is a voice-over artist to many stations around the country and is a busy Mum to Ruby who was born in November 2008. Before moving to Adelaide in 2000, she worked at numerous radio stations in Canberra and studied at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne.
