Help raise money - individual fundraising
Individual fundraising is an excellent way to raise extra funds for breast cancer research as a participant in the Mother’s Day Classic. Ask all your family, friends and work colleagues to sponsor you in your run or walk. Last year’s champion fundraiser raised more than $12,000 in sponsorship for the Mother’s Day Classic in Adelaide.

The individual raising the most money in each state will win domestic flights to the value of $1000 kindly provided by QANTAS.
Setting up your fundraising
Instructions
Fundraising is done in the form of sponsorship.
Whether you are entering an event, or choose to fundraise because you cannot attend an event, you are able to set up your very own fundraising page.
If you are registering for an event online, you have the option to sign up to fundraise when you fill in your registration form online.
Please note: If you are entering a team and wish to fundraise as part of your team, you must set up your fundraising page when you register as a participant online in order for your fundraising page to be listed under your team.
If not entering an event but you wish to fundraise instead, you are able to do so by clicking on the link below.
Please note: If you decide to set up a fundraising page online now, and you register for an event at a later date, then there is no need to check the box that asks about fundraising when you fill in your entry form (otherwise you will end up with two fundraising forms which you don't need!)
Once you register for a fundraising page you will then be provided with a username and log in to access and update your page as you go along.
This page will have a URL that you can copy and paste into an e-mail to send out to all of your friends, family, work colleagues, team mates, etc, asking them to sponsor you in your effort to walk or run at your chosen event. They will also have the option to sponsor you directly from your individual fundraising page.
Your individual fundraising page will allow you to:
- Add a photo
- Write a personal statement (please note max. 5,000 characters)
- Keep track of the amount of money you have raised so far
