Support our efforts in the 2025 Mother’s Day Classic!

Another year and Mothers Day without our beautiful Lyn and another year of cancer impacting too many of our loved ones 💔

Which means another Mother’s Day classic walk and raising awareness and funds for breast and ovarian cancer!

Tragically, every DAY in Australia 63 people are diagnosed and 12 lose their lives to breast or ovarian cancer…. What an insane, scary and sad statistic. 

Thanks to research, the five-year survival rate for breast cancer has increased from 84 per cent to 92 per cent since the Mother’s Day Classic started in 1998.

Tragically, treatment, early detection, and preventative medical research advances for ovarian cancer have been limited. Treatment options and targeted therapies have only marginally improved in 30 years and there is currently NO readily available, non-invasive early detection test for ovarian cancer. The average five year survival rate for a woman diagnosed with ovarian cancer is just 49 per cent 💔

Lyn passed away in September of 2023 after a tremendous but long and difficult battle with both breast and ovarian cancer. Lyn was so very passionate about the Mother’s Day classic walk so let’s continue on in her legacy and make her proud.
