I'm putting my foot down to stop ovarian cancer in its tracks!
A walk in honour of Mahin Khosravi for ovarian cancer research.
The Master has told us that gifts and good deeds done in memory of those who have passed on, are most helpful to the development of their souls in the realms beyond.
Together our family will walk to honour our beloved Mahin Khosravi. She was our maman (mum), khahar (sister), mamanbozorg (grandmother), khaleh/ameh (aunt), dokhtar khaleh/ameh (cousin) and a friend to all.
A pure, kind and radiant heart.
Mahin joon fought a tough battle with ovarian cancer until she departed this earthly world too soon in February 2024. We endeavour to honour her spirit by raising funds for ovarian cancer research and would love your support.
In our beloved Mahin’s honour, we hope to bring awareness to the most lethal reproductive cancer in Australia, where someone will pass away from this disease every 8 hours.
In our beloved Mahin’s honour, we hope to offer a brighter future for the 1,815 Australian women who will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer this year or the 10,000 Australian women that will be projected to lose their lives to ovarian cancer in the next 10 years.
In our beloved Mahin’s honour, we hope to support research to create an early detection test so there’s no longer 70% of the women diagnosed in the advanced stages with only a 29% expected survival rate beyond 5 years.
