Lacing up the runners to fight Breast Cancer

On Sunday 12 May, I'm putting my foot down to save lives.

In Feb 2023 I was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer known as Triple Negative.  After 13 months of active treatment, inc 16 round of chemo, 6 months of oral chemo, 12 months of immunotherapy and multiple surgeries I'm pleased to say I currently have no evidence of any cancer.   Triple Negative is difficult to treat and has a high chance of recurrence and therefore all research possible is needed to help find treatments for it.  I was fortunate to have access to immunotherapy which is a treatment that has only been accessible to TNBC patients for a couple of years, its down to research that new treatments are discovered and ultimately will help saves lives.  

I completed the 5km walk last year while I was having IV chemo, this year I'm tackling the 10km run, and I'd really love your support!

I’m joining the Mother’s Day Classic to help raise funds and awareness to fight breast and ovarian cancers.  

Tragically, 12 Australians lose their lives to these awful diseases every day.
