This International Women’s Day, we reflect on the power of one woman’s vision and the legacy she left behind.

It has been 10 years since Mother’s Day Classic co-founder Mavis Robertson passed away, yet her impact continues to shape the event and inspire the next generation. In our special tribute video, we honour our Mother's Day Classic co-founders, Louise Davidson and the late Mavis Robertson, and their unwavering dedication to funding cancer research.

Through archival footage and heartfelt conversations, we look back at MDC’s beginnings and celebrate the women who have kept Mavis and Louis dream alive. Because to march forward, we must first honour where we started.
