ADDITIONAL INFO

Embrace & Honour: In the Embrace & Honour walks participants will be invited to observe a minute of silence at the start line to embrace and honour those touched by breast or ovarian cancer.

Bag Drop: There will be a baggage storage area onsite where you can leave your belongings. Please do not leave any valuables in the storage area as we cannot be responsible for goods lost or stolen.

4km course to run from Southbank City Parklands, along Stanley Street, through Cultural Centre tunnel, continuing along Stanley Place and then down onto Riverside Drive. 


8km course to run from Southbank City Parklands, along Stanley Street, through Cultural Centre tunnel, continuing along Stanley Place and then down onto Riverside Drive. 

Both courses follow Riverside Drive. The 4km course returns back at Jane St junction. The 8km course returns back at Orleigh Park.

We recommend you use public transport to travel to and from Southbank Parklands

Parking
Southbank car park is located at Little Stanley St, SouthBank.

Public transport
The closest public transport options to Southbank Parklands are:
South Bank train station - 15 minute (1km) walk along Grey St and Southbank

Southbank ferry terminal - 2 minute (170 metres) walk South Bank bus station - 13 minute (one kilometre) walk via Little Stanley St

Bib Collection

Is available from the registration desk on Saturday 10th May from 10:00am – 2:00pm and Sunday 11th May from 6:30am. Please allow ample time to collect your race bib before your start time.

Event Village

Event Village will be open from 6:30am - 11:30am.

The course is wheelchair and pram friendly.

The Event Village will have grassed and paved areas. Please refer to maps for further information regarding village accessibility.

Entertainment and Kids Zone

The main stage act includes Ellen Reed Duo, which features Ellen Reed, a finalist on the Voice Australia. Young singer, Ethan Dahl, will perform some acoustic melodies with his guitar on the stage, and keep a look out for amazing young vocalist Henry Hedger on the course, as well as blues, rock, folk guitarist, Roo Friend

Magical bubble entertainers and stilt walkers will be keeping the event village lively, and don't forget to get your face painted and play some giant backyard games!

Coffee and food vendors will be onsite in the event village.
