Support my teams efforts in the 2024 Mother’s Day Classic!

On Sunday 12 May, I'm hoping to walk my 1st Mother’s Day classic

Yes walk!  Last year was my first Mother’s Day classic, as a breast cancer patient. As you all know I was physically unable to walk, and my husband pushed me in the wheelchair.

I wasn’t going to do anything this year, as I was taking a step back from everything… until I’ve had messages this past week of family & friends wanting to participate. I had a ponder over this, and realised the importance to continue raising awareness, continue raising money for research for better outcomes, better treatments. There will be many woman who were there last year, who are no longer with us today, and there will be woman with us this year, that have been delivered those 3 words by the Dr ‘You have cancer’. That’s why we must continue the fight.

This year for the very first time the Mother’s Day Classic is supporting both breast and ovarian cancers.  

Tragically, 12 Australians lose their lives to these awful diseases every day. 

I’m asking you to do more than just stand with me but to support me and my team as we walk, run, and move till we’re done!!

You will get a confirmation email to activate your page.  You can then edit, personalise and share your page. You can choose at the start where you want to walk (there’s lots of places including Colac, or walk anywhere/anytime.). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure you register if you plan on walking, because if you just rock up to the event without paying, you’ve defeated the purpose.
