We lost Trace on 19 April; today is her birthday.For Trace
As some of you may know, my beautiful mother-in-law Tracy ("Trace") was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in April 2023.
As the tale goes with ovarian cancer, the symptoms were hard to catch. Now, less than a year later, she is bravely fighting for her life.
Anyone lucky enough to have met Trace knows just how special she truly is. When I met Jake at 16 years of age, she welcomed me into her home like I was her own daughter and has been there for me ever since.
Now, I want to do this for her.
This is the first year the Mother’s Day Classic is raising funds and awareness to fight ovarian cancer!
The symptoms are so mild they can be passed off as an annoyance - bloating, lower back pain, constipation and tiredness just to name a few.
If you are able to make a donation, proceeds will go to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation to fund life-changing research.
For Trace, and for all other women fighting this battle.
