SUPPORTING Breast Cancer Research
My first run postpartum to support breast cancer research!
On Sunday 11 May, I'm joining the Mother’s Day Classic for the first time to help raise money to fight breast and ovarian cancer.
Every day in Australia, 63 people are diagnosed, and 12 lose their lives to breast or ovarian cancer.
Those who know me will know that my family has been directly impacted by cancer.
My amazing mum beat breast cancer once before in 2010—and she’s going to beat it again this year. Hopefully, I can do my bit to help ensure we have more resources dedicated to preventing and treating breast and ovarian cancer.
Any donation you can make is genuinely appreciated!
And if you’re free on the day, come down and watch me blow my knees out on only 4km.
We've donated so far...
$46.1 million
Since 1998 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
$1.2 million
Since 2024 to the Ovarian Cancer research Foundation
