On Sunday 11 May, we're putting our feet down to save lives.
Our amazing mum, Christine, was diagnosed with breast cancer in November last year. The last five months have been an incredibly challenging time, with surgery three times, two bouts of radiation treatment and the start of a treatment program to make sure mum is with us for a very long time yet.
Mum's cancer has unfortunately spread into her bones, meaning she is incurable, but with the help of a large and incredible medical team, mum plans to complete the Mothers' Day Classic for many many years to come!
Our team is called Our Mum, Our Hero, because that's exactly what she is!
