This design honours the legacy of Mavis Robertson AM, who co-founded the Mother’s Day Classic in 1998. Together with Louise Davidson AM, Mavis created what has now become Australia’s largest fun run and walk for breast and ovarian cancer research.

The Mother’s Day Classic is Australia’s most inspirational, cause-driven community event. Every year, thousands of Australians come together on Mother’s Day to start their Mother’s Day with purpose. Our aim is to unite and inspire the community, create a fun and engaging event experience, to celebrate and remember those touched by breast and ovarian cancer and to raise life-saving funds for research. AIA Australia has proudly supported the Mother’s Day Classic since 2018.
