Support my efforts in the 2025 Mother's Day Classic!

On Sunday 11 May, I'm putting my foot down to save lives!!

Myself, Kate, Sophie & Jayda are joining the Mother’s Day Classic to help raise funds and awareness to fight breast and ovarian cancers.

We've done this event in previous years! Unfortunately, this year it is even closer to home than before.

In October 2024 at just 38, I was diagnosed with  Stage 2 Invasive DCIS - Breast Cancer. It's been a journey to say the least! In December I also discovered I am positive to the BRCA2 gene mutation putting me at higher risk of ovarian cancer also - which goes undetected! I still consider myself lucky! Due to my own mums history with Breast Cancer I was proactive in screening which is how it was picked up & thankfully it was early stages.

I've already had multiple surgeries & due to my recent major surgery we will be taking part in the 5km walk.

We would appreciate any donation big or small, however, if you cannot donate at this time do the next very best thing you can - raise awareness. Young people get breast cancer too - way more than you think & early detection is key. So let's talk about it & make sure our mums, sisters, daughters, aunts, nieces & friends are all checking!!

Tragically, every day in Australia 63 people are diagnosed and 12 lose their lives to breast or ovarian cancer.

I’m asking you to do more than just stand with me but to support me as I walk, run, and move till we’re done.
