I'm putting my foot down to stop breast cancer in its tracks!

My Story

On Mothers Day last year, I was getting ready to have our third baby oblivious to what was happening within my body. A few weeks later I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer to then deliver my baby girl the very next day to start chemotherapy 4 days later. Since then I have done 16 rounds of chemo, a double mastectomy with a lymph node clearance, radiation for 25 sessions, and on hormone blockers for 10 years, plus zoladex an ovary supression as well as a CDK 4 inhibitor to ensure that this beast doesn't come back. This Mothers Day is completely different and has a total new meaning to me. I am 1 in 7 that has been directly affected by this horrible disease. I will be walking the Mothers Day classic on Sunday 12th of May at 9am. I would love for you to join our team or even just a small donation to raise money to ensure that treatments evolve and hopefully one day there will be a cure.
Today marks 9 months since I was diagnosed. This is when my life changed and I am just so grateful to be here on the other side of active treatment and starting to enjoy life as a family of 5 in the way we should.
