Breast and Ovarian Cancer Research
Since 1998, we’ve been dedicated to walking, running and fundraising to save women’s lives on Mother’s Day.
In 2024, we took one step further and made it our mission to stop both ovarian and breast cancer in their tracks.
In the last 27 years, our community has donated $46.1 million to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and since 2024, $1.2 million to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.

Stronger together
To the incredible nurses at Genesis Care, this is a heartfelt tribute to honor your unwavering compassion and care. Your dedication to supporting chemo patients day in and day out is beyond admirable. Despite the challenges you face, you always show kindness, warmth, and professionalism. You embody the true spirit of care, and your efforts do not go unnoticed. Thank you for all that you do—you are truly amazing and inspiring.
Kerryn
Remembering amazing Kerryn, whose connection with friends and family was amazing through her (ultimately unsuccessful) dance with breast cancer.
Michelle, Simone, Wendy, Vida, Coral, and me
20 years since my first MDC. 20 years since I came home from the walk, checked my chest and found a lump. 20 years since MDC saved my life. And in 20 years so many more have been diagnosed, fought the fight, and have lost or are losing or have survived. Cancer may choose how we move on from this life, but don’t let it choose how we live. Cherish the moments.
